Applications are invited from male/female Indian Citizens for appointment to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographers) and Head Constable (Ministerial) in Border Security Force (BSF), Ministry of Home Affairs, and Government of India.

Head Constables (Ministerial)

•     No. of Vacancies: 304 posts
•     Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay Rs.2400/-
•     Qualification: 12th “OR” 10th
•     Age Limit: 18 to 25 years

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) (Stenographers)

•     No. of Vacancies: 82 posts
•     Pay Scale: PB-1 of Rs.5200-20200 with grade pay Rs.2800/-
•     Qualification: 12th “OR” 10th
•     Age Limit: 18 to 25 years

Examination Fee: Bank Draft/Postal Order for Rs.50/- as examination fee in favour of authority

Selection Procedure: The Selection shall be held in two phases as under:

First Phase:

1.     Written Examination

 Second Phase:

1.     Physical Measurement (PST)
2.     Short Hand Test (only for ASI/Steno)
3.     Typing Speed Test (only for HC/Min)
4.     Documentation (Checking of Documents)
5.     Medical Examination
